We manufacture our Closeboard Fence Panels in our Norfolk workshop, giving us control over the build quality, timber specification, and finish. Often referred to as featheredge fence panels, they are a strong and durable choice for garden boundaries, privacy, and long-term outdoor use. Each panel is 6ft (1.83m) wide, pressure treated, and finished with a top capping strip for a neat, protective finish. Closeboard fencing provides a solid fence line that performs well in exposed areas and suits a wide range of domestic and trade fencing projects.

Closeboard Panel Construction and Sizes

Each panel is made using 125mm x 22mm featheredge boards fixed vertically for a close-fitting finish, and reinforced with 75mm x 32mm x 1830mm rails.

  • 6ft and 5ft 6in panels use 4 rails for additional rigidity.
  • All heights under 5ft 6in use 3 rails.
