Choose the pattern, height and support that suit your garden before ordering.
Standard: a traditional square grid with open spaces for an airy boundary or plant support.
Slatted: horizontal battens with a clean, linear appearance for contemporary garden divisions and fence tops.
Privacy: smaller 2-inch gaps that provide more screening than standard trellis. It still has gaps; the amount you can see through depends on the viewing angle and any planting.
Fan: a fan-shaped support for climbing plants against a wall, fence or suitable garden structure. The 1200mm version suits smaller spaces; the 1800mm version offers taller plant support.
For a solid timber boundary, compare our closeboard fence panels.
Slatted, standard and privacy panels: 6ft wide, in seven heights: 1ft, 18in, 2ft, 3ft, 4ft, 5ft and 6ft.
Fan trellis: 600mm wide, in 1200mm or 1800mm heights.
Measure your opening and check the dimensions on the chosen product. Include the posts and fixing method when planning a new run, and confirm the panel size before using existing post spacing.
For a fence topper, allow for the combined height of the fence and trellis and make sure the supports are suitable.
Fix trellis securely to sound posts or a suitable wall using exterior fixings appropriate to the support. On an existing fence, check the posts and fixing points can support the additional panel and any climbing plants.

The panels have a brown-treated finish. Keep the base clear of soil and accumulated garden debris. Before painting or staining, allow the timber to dry sufficiently and follow the exterior finish manufacturer’s preparation instructions.
