Protect your fence panels and get a neat, professional finish. This British Standard Approved recessed concrete gravel board lifts panels 300mm (12″) off the ground to reduce rot and extend life. It’s steel-reinforced for strength and made in a lighter mix for easier handling on site.

Most customers pair this 12″ (300mm) recessed concrete gravel board with:

• 6ft x 6ft fence panels (1830mm × 1830mm)

• 10ft slotted concrete posts

This gives an overall height of approx. 7ft (2.1m) with a 6ft panel. That’s above the usual 2.0m limit in many UK gardens, so check local planning rules before installing.

• Posts: use 10ft slotted posts with a 6ft panel + 12″ board.

• Planning: overall height is ~2.1m with a 6ft panel — check local rules.

• PPE: it’s lighter, but still concrete — use gloves and safe lifting.

• Ground levels: ideal for stepping bays over small level changes and for keeping bark, gravel or soil neatly inside the garden edge. (Not a retaining wall.)
